Data responsibility
The client/data controller is responsible for the data they upload, manage, and use. Advanced Subscriber Intelligence provides the protected sending infrastructure, compliance tools, unsubscribe/abuse handling routes, monitoring, and reporting systems within the ASI environment.
Purpose of this notice
This privacy notice explains how personal data may be used within this ASI deployment and who is responsible for that data.
Who controls the data
The client/data controller named above decides what personal data is uploaded, managed, selected, segmented, contacted, retained, deleted, or otherwise used in this deployment.
Advanced Subscriber Intelligence provides the ASI environment and related infrastructure, protection systems, compliance tools, unsubscribe and abuse handling routes, monitoring, diagnostics, and reporting systems.
Types of data that may be processed
Depending on how the client/data controller uses the deployment, data may include:
- Contact details such as name, email address, company, role, telephone number, website, or postal address.
- Subscription, consent, suppression, unsubscribe, bounce, complaint, and abuse-report information.
- Campaign, list, segment, send, delivery, open, click, and reporting evidence.
- Technical information such as IP address, user agent, browser data, device signals, timestamps, server logs, and security records.
- Support, diagnostics, monitoring, incident, and audit records connected with the operation of the ASI environment.
Why data may be processed
Personal data may be processed to operate campaigns, manage subscriber lists, apply suppression and unsubscribe rules, protect sender reputation, monitor delivery and abuse signals, investigate technical issues, maintain security, provide reporting, and support compliance obligations.
Lawful basis and consent
The client/data controller is responsible for identifying and recording the lawful basis for contacting recipients and for ensuring that any required consent, notice, legitimate interest assessment, or other legal requirement is in place before data is uploaded or used.
Sharing and access
Access to data should be limited to authorised users, service providers, infrastructure providers, support staff, and legal or regulatory recipients where required. Advanced Subscriber Intelligence may access deployment data only where needed to provide authorised support, diagnostics, security, maintenance, migration, incident response, legal compliance, or separately agreed managed services.
Retention
Data should be retained only for as long as needed for the purposes set by the client/data controller, including campaign operations, compliance records, suppression records, abuse handling, reporting, security, accounting, dispute handling, and legal obligations.
